Appleton Pin Up Girl Update

Hi Everyone!!

Things have been a little quiet from me recently however there is lots in store so I thank you for your patience. I have had a number of things happen since my last post so here is a little update for you!

Over the last month or so I have changed jobs and career paths completely so I have had a massive change to get used to.

Unfortunately I didn’t make it through to the next stage of the National Vintage Awards as a finalist however there is always next year! Thanks for your votes, it really did mean a lot to me and I look forward to trying again next year.

I have had another burlesque show that I have produced and stage managed for Appleton Productions (blog post to follow).

I have attended my local show Hundred Watt Club produced by the fabulous Lena Mae. It’s still my favourite local show to go and watch as an audience member. I have taken many friends now to come along for the evening and all who have come along absolutely love it. The line ups are fantastic; the show is well run and great fun. I had a blast as always.

My partner has been in Canada for 3 weeks so I have had some time home alone. I was working full time and I had plenty to keep me busy including the 2 burlesque shows, vintage fair, mother’s birthday, housework, meeting up with friends and family etc.

I have attended the Harry Potter Studio Tour (for the third time now) and went with my sister to see Panic at the Disco in London where I came across the support act King Charles who is utterly incredible.

Backing local business – I have recently made some purchases from local independent businesses that I want to share with you (blog posts to follow).

I have attended local vintage fairs where possible and very much enjoyed hunting the stalls to find some gems!

I have helped out backstage at a theatre production for a local dance school doing make up and I was side of stage support for one night and I got to watch the show from the audience after doing make up on the second night which was a great experience.

So much more that I can’t put my finger on right now! Such a busy time lately however I’m back and ready to share more with you all!
