The Harry Potter actress
stars in the cosmetics giant's latest ads for the In Love collection, which
hits Lancôme counters in stores nationwide at the beginning of January.
I am a huge fan of Emma
Watson following the Harry Potter series and love her beauty and fashion
campaigns. In 2013 she’ll be playing more serious characters in Your Voice In
My Head and The Bling Ring, but she’ll also be starring in a comedy next to
James Franco and Seth Rogen in This Is The End. Emma’s definitely come a long
way from Hermione Granger in Harry Potter.
I checked out these products
as soon as they hit the shelves and must say they are just fantastic! I wanted
to share them with you as not only is the campaign brilliant, amazing photos,
colours and modeling from Emma Watson but it’s very practical and wearable must
have make up too. As the collections are always limited editions I thought I
would bring these to your attention and see if you will like them as much as I
do!
Emma Watson looks so
pretty, the perfect English rose wearing these products. From
the neon glimmer of the lipstick to the pastel tones in the blusher
complemented by a slick of turquoise, the colour combination works perfectly.
To get Emma's look, go
for the moisturising lip balm in Rose Macaron with a matching cheek colour in Pommettes
d'Amour. Of course let’s not forget the turquoise graphic kohl pencil in Jade
Crush.
The Baume in
Love, a brand new lipstick with Shea Butter, is my personal fave. It comes in a
translucent shade of hot pink, deep purple or peach and provides just enough
colour with a subtle sheen. I have them in all 3 colours and all are half used
up already, I take them everywhere and wear them all the time. Make sure you
have a look at them…but don’t be put off by the neon colours, they come out
very sheer and more like a lip balm! The blusher is gorgeously colourful and comes in two tones, pink or peach. I have gone for the more peachy tone and have worn it every day since getting it! Emma's favourite? It's the khol eyeliner in Jade Crush that's perfect for electrifying her eyes in a single stroke. It’s a very soft pencil and lasts all day…literally doesn’t budge which is great.
The whole collection is
very light and subtle for everyday wear. Perfect for spring/summer. This is a
great day time look. It’s no secret I love heavy make-up, bold red lipsticks,
black eyeliners and false lashes…but in the day time it’s nice to wear a more
subtle look, more toned down and natural…especially interviewing like I have
been.
